Esme Allen wins Forestry Commission Exhibition Award 2015
Dawn Yoxall
This year's winner of the Forestry Commission Exhibition Award is Esme Allen for her series Eden Restored: The Mesopotamian Marshes of Iraq.
The photographs are a beautiful account of the lives of indigenous Marsh Arabs who live in this unique landscape, as people and environment recover from large-scale ecological destruction.
Her solo exhibition will be exhibited in the grounds of Grizedale Forest from July 18th to September 7th 2015 as part of the Atkins CIWEM Environmental Photographer of the Year exhibition....
